Yes, and it is how the printable PDFs are sent: the printables, and one short email a month: what changed, one new sheet, one thing worth doing. Signing up takes an email address and one confirmation click, from the top of any sheet or the signup page. Every monthly email has a link to unsubscribe from the monthly list. When were the facts last rechecked?
Every recheck of a state or national fact, newest first.
- A theme switch in the header: Auto follows your device, or pick Light or Dark. The choice stays in your browser on that device.
- Visits are now counted with Umami, a cookieless analytics tool Kokoro Software hosts itself: no cookies, no personal data, and nothing you type in a tool is sent. The privacy page lists exactly what is counted.
- The printable PDFs now come by email: put an address in at the top of any sheet, confirm the link, and the welcome email carries that PDF and all sixteen. One short email a month follows. The sheet pages still print free from the browser. New privacy notice.
- Weekly zones gained the shower squeegee, bathmats, indoor bins, the lounge and pet beds, and switches and handles. Monthly gained appliance door seals, descaling, drains, fans and light fittings, aircon filters, the smoke alarm and safety switch test buttons, a damp check under sinks, and screens. New sheets: the end-of-lease bond clean, room by room, with what to book before and photograph after; and keeping the outdoor areas clean on the same weekly, monthly and seasonal layers.
- New page and tab: Keeping on top of it, the upkeep rhythm in four layers with its sheets.
- Kids' chores became Family tasks with its own tab: pick an age, every job in three steps a child can follow.
- Printable added: family tasks, children's chores by age with a blank weekly chart, from the kids' chores page.
- The hotspot timer became the timed reset: twelve areas of the house with a suggested time and prompts that step through the countdown. Cleaning and home-reset sheets added to the printables: daily, weekly and monthly cleaning; weekly, Sunday family, monthly, seasonal and twelve-week resets. Site palette moved to white paper.
- New section: free printables. A room-by-room decluttering checklist, a keep/sell/donate/recycle/bin sorting sheet, 100 things to declutter, fourteen fifteen-minute challenge cards and a thirty-day challenge, each as a printable page and an A4 PDF.
- New page: fourteen fifteen-minute decluttering challenges, each with a finish line, three steps and where the leaving bag goes. Linked from the declutter hub, where to start, and the hotspot timer.
- Correction: the batteries page now carries B-cycle's damaged-battery rule. A swollen, bulging or badly damaged battery must not go to a B-cycle point or a bin; it goes in a fire-resistant, non-airtight container and the council or transfer station is asked first. A battery that is leaking but otherwise normal follows B-cycle's separate route: gloves, zip-lock bag, B-cycle drop-off. Quantity rule added: call the point above 1 kg, 5 kg drop-off limit.
- Correction: terminal taping now applies to every battery dropped at B-cycle, AA and AAA included, with placement by shape, as B-cycle's FAQ asks. Earlier copy limited taping to lithium, button-cell and 9 volt batteries.
- Correction: the batteries page no longer sends vapes to B-cycle. B-cycle states it does not accept vapes, e-cigarettes or batteries embedded in devices; for a vape, contact the council or transfer station for a safe disposal option; devices with built-in batteries go to e-waste. National pages now name bins by function, not lid colour.
- Correction: pages for NSW, Queensland, Tasmania, the ACT and the Northern Territory no longer assert the absence of an e-waste landfill ban, because the cited pages describe disposal routes without stating the law. They now give the drop-off route only. Green-waste charging claims removed from every state; sites set their own fees.
- Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, the ACT and the Northern Territory researched from state government, EPA and scheme-operator pages: e-waste rules, container schemes and their handling rules, soft plastics, household chemical programs, hard waste patterns and locators. Each state record and every state page carries its sources. Sustainability Victoria closed on 30 June 2026, so Victorian links prefer vic.gov.au and DEECA where they exist.
- Soft plastics rechecked against Woolworths and Soft Plastics Stewardship Australia: in-store bins at more than 700 stores, none in WA, the NT or Tasmania. Shared soft-plastics copy, the WA page and llms.txt updated.
- Containers for Change WA rechecked against the scheme operator and the WA Government: the 1 July 2026 expansion to wine and spirit bottles and casks, juice and cordial containers, and flavoured milk, juice and water cartons is live; lids have been accepted on or off since 1 July 2025; crushed containers are taken at staffed depots but not by reverse vending machines; newly eligible containers may lack the 10c mark for up to three years. - Initial fact check of all eight state records: bin lids, e-waste bans, container schemes, soft plastics, hazardous waste programs and verge collection patterns. WA and VIC researched to council level; the other six verified at state level only.
- National facts checked: B-cycle, Paintback, Return Unwanted Medicines, ATO record-keeping period, kerbside rules for drinking glass and discs.
