The thirty-day challenge
Thirty days, one small task a day, most of them fifteen minutes: the bench, the junk drawer, ten pieces of paper, five things that do not fit. Every seventh day is the same: take the week's bags where they go. Miss a day and do the next one; the sheet does not care which day it is.
One box a day. Write the date in the corner when you do it, not before.

What if I miss a day?
Do the next task the next day. The numbers are an order, not a calendar. A thirty-day challenge that takes forty days still ends with thirty spots done.
Why is every seventh day the bags?
Because the pile by the door is where most declutters die. A task that only moves things to the hall is not finished until the bag has left the house, and once a week is often enough to keep the hall clear.
