The daily ten-minute reset

The short answer

Ten minutes, twice a day. Morning: beds, curtains, dishwasher out while the kettle boils, one load in, bench wiped. Evening: ten minutes after dinner with everyone putting things back, then benches clear, sink empty, dishwasher on, washing away, bags by the door. The house rarely gets far enough behind to need a big clean.

Same ten things, same order, every day. The order is the point: after a fortnight most people stop needing the sheet.

What is on the sheet?

Morning

Ten minutes before you leave. The house you come home to is the one you set up now.

Evening

Ten minutes after dinner. Morning-you is grateful.
