The seasonal home reset
The short answer
Four lists for an Australian year. Summer: the oven, the fans and filters, the sunscreen dates. Autumn: gutters before the rain, winter bedding out, heaters tested. Winter: mattresses and rugs, a mould check, coats culled. Spring: the annual cull of cupboards and garage, smoke alarm batteries, the wardrobe swap. Five things each, one weekend each.
One weekend a season. The first weekend of December, March, June and September works for most of the country.
