Northern Territory
Where does it go in the NT?
In the Northern Territory, kerbside lids are general (General waste bin) and recycling (Recycling bin). E-waste goes to a drop-off point, never a kerbside bin. Drink containers earn 10c through the NT container deposit scheme since 2012. No soft-plastics scheme operates in the NT, so soft plastics go in the general waste bin. Household chemicals go through your council.
Waste rules are state and council law, not national. These are the NT facts that change the answer.
